The Blue Mountain Difference

The team at Blue Mountain is dedicated to quality of our entire line of tinctures, gels, bath bomb salts, shake powders and other lifestyle products.   We utilize a four step process to ensure that you, our customers, have the highest quality CBD extract possible with the appropriate concentrations and dosages.

Step 1 – We require Certificates of Analysis from all of our hemp farmers prior to receipt of material.  These COA’s as they are known are the industry are just the starting point for Blue Mountain.   The hemp is tested for a wide range of cannabinoids, as well as for contamination by mycotoxins, heavy metals and pesticides.  Only after have satisfactory results from this process, samples are shipped to Blue Mountain.

Step 2 – Once samples received we do a full extraction of the hemp material for testing of the extract.  The flower is also tested pre-extraction to ensure it conforms to the above COA.  Our LC/UV system allows us to identify 8 different cannabinoids including CBD, CBC, CBGA, THC to name a few.   Once the extract has been tested and passed our QA/QC guidelines, the bulk hemp flower/biomass is delivered to our extraction lab.

Step 3 – Next we do full scale extractions with the hemp material and do rigorous inside testing and formulations of different tincture dosages.  From there, the finished samples (example 3000 mg tincture) is sent to our 3rd party laboratory to ensure it matches our internal testing.

Step 4 – We routinely ‘pull’ samples from inventory and retest them to ensure that 100% of our products are the exact dosage.
